Barkley Blames Warriors for Durant’s Career Changing Injury!!!
First Name Tom, Last Name Foolery… And I’m Everybody’s Uncle!
Especially this tongue lashing legend… Charles Barkley.
As the internet descends on the Warriors for playing Kevin Durant in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, a decision that resulted in an Achilles injury, Charles Barkley has joined the fray.
“That was not right, If you go back & look at the last two weeks… the articles comes out, ’KD’s worst nightmare: the Warriors are winning without him.’ Then you see an article that says the Warriors are frustrated with him unwilling to risk his Achilles,” Barkley said on ESPN’s “Get Up!” on Tuesday morning.
“Now this man has to be feeling some sort of weight. I blame the Warriors for KD getting hurt & I don’t care what they say about it. They shouldn’t have put that man out there. You know how I know it, that man blew out his Achilles.”
The Warriors have borne the blame, particularly general manager Bob Myers, who shed tears during his press conference on Monday night.
“I don’t believe that there’s anybody to blame,” Myers said.
“But I understand in this world & if you have to, you can blame me. I run our basketball operations department.”
