Recently, Kevin Durant voiced his opinion regarding why he never captures many regular season awards nowadays from the National Basketball Association. Many have speculated & concluded what KD already knows. He doesn’t get the nod for awards because the media has painted him as an unlikable villain.
“Accolades, that stuff is kind of long gone for me; unless it’s like the Finals or something like that, where it’s probably pretty even. But regular season awards, I mean, I’m never gonna get a look when it comes to that, especially playing here for the Warriors,” voiced KD.
Durant’s content with not earning individual awards. As long as he’s racking up Larry O’Brien Championship trophies he’s perfectly fine. That’s a trade many NBA players would agree to. Nonetheless, KD’s right, for him, it’s pretty evident the media harbors feeling of pure…
