Meek Mill Released From Prison!!!
First name Tom, Last name Foolery... And I'm Everybody's Uncle!
Especially this Philly Freeman… Meek Mill.
The “Dreams & Nightmares” rapper has been freed from prison after Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled his imprisonment was unjust. Since being imprisoned, Mill has had support from the likes of Jay Z, Kevin Hart, Robert Kraft, Michael Rubin & other influential prominent figures.
“Although I’m blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury & I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues. In the meantime, I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction & look forward to reuniting with my family & resuming my music career,” Meek stated before being officially released.
Meek’s legal team managed to get him released just in time to attend the 76ers home playoff game. Philadelphia’s co-owner, Michael Rubin, picked Meek up from prison in a private helicopter & swooped him to Wells Fargo Center. Prior to ringing the Liberty Bell at the start of Game 5, Meek was greeted to a standing ovation from the home crowd.
