Especially this spiraling ex-NBA player... Delonte West.
The story of former NBA player Delonte West has apparently turned for the worse. In the latest chapter, fans spotted West panhandling on the streets. Videos of West appearing to be asking a fan passing by for change, is making its rounds on the Internet.
An image surfaced later on Twitter, showing West standing on the streets in Alexandria, Virginia just outside of Washington, D.C.

Just two weeks ago, West was highlighted at tryouts in Washington, D.C. for Ice Cube’s Big3 League. He was selected for the league’s draft pool. However, he was not selected in last month’s draft held in Las Vegas.
In 2020, video West in rough shape on the streets of D.C. went viral. Later that year, he was once again seen on the streets but in Dallas. That’s when Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban personally picked West up & helped him get into a Florida rehab facility. West even got a job there.
Unfortunately, his recovery was short-lived, West was arrested this past October in Florida following an encounter with police. According to WPTV, he banged on the door of the Boynton Beach police department while holding a bottle of beer. He was confronted by police & eventually tasered.
Delonte struggles with bipolar disorder. We are all rooting for him to overcome his disorder & live a stable life.
