Phoenix Suns’ point guard Elfrid Payton had arguably the most noticeable hairstyle in the NBA. Some even questioned if the hanging work of art obstructed his view. Nonetheless, Payton managed to remain an elite player.
Recently, Elfrid shocked NBA fans worldwide by cutting his signature hairstyle. Payton & his high school teammates in Marrero, LA agreed to let their hair grow until they won the Louisiana state championship. However, John Ehret was beaten in the semifinals by Scotlandville. Instead of cutting his hair, Payton elected to continue growing it.
According to a reputable source, EP may have lost a friendly bet to a 3rd Ward Nawlins Goon that ultimately costed him his signature look. Something tells us he may have lost intentionally.
