Popular “Today” show meteorologist, Al Roker, has come under fire for dressing up as Doc Brown from the 80s blockbuster film, Back to the Future. NBC is already facing massive backlash for former host, Megyn Kelly’s blackface comments.
Due to Roker’s impulsive decision to participate in whiteface attire during Halloween, the network is forces to clean up its brand once again. Al certainly managed to ruffle feathers & anger many.
“I’m going to say this one last time, but the folks who get it, understand & the ones who DON’T wont. I can be DOC BROWN & I wear the outfit & wig & not change my skin color. If you’re white, you can be President Obama if you want. Just don’t color your skin!” angrily defended Roker amidst harsh criticism.
According to a trustworthy source, Roker thought it would be wise to show the world different races can imitate other races as long as they are behaving tastefully & appropriate. The source claims Roker’s attempt failed horribly on mind-closed people.
“Roker really stirred the pot. Tons of black & white people are outraged by his actions. Many have signed a newly created petition to get his black ass removed from the “Today” show,” informed the source.
