Just when you think it’s safe to increase your teen’s Internet time limit, along comes a paedophile to remind you to keep your precious kiddos under tight supervision.

Clinton Stothard, a 31 year old registered sex offender, managed to weasel his way into another unsuspecting victim’s life. Recently, Stothard was sentenced to 6 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 15 year old girl.

Clinton met the teen via a Yahoo gaming chatroom & immediately began grooming her. Over the course of their viral relationship, the couple exchanged thousands of text messages, numerous lewd photos & countless hours on the phone talking.

According to court documents, it was hard for Stothard to spend intimate time with the teen, thus he masterminded a plan to gain the trust of her parents & tagalong with the family on holiday trips. During the trips, Stothard, who pretended to be a teenager, & the teen repeatedly engaged in inappropriate sexual contact.

Operation teenager was uncovered when Stothard attempted to lure another minor into a similar trap. However, authorities were able to snag the predator before he could damage another innocent victim.

We’re not sure how teenage boys look in South Yorkshire, but judging by Stothard’s receding hairline & copious facial wrinkles, there’s no way any parent should have fallen for his okie-doke.
